A Block

Congratulations, and welcome! A Block can be quite a change in pace for some, due to the change-up of jobs. As well as the other normal features of a prison block, there are a few new ones as well. Ready to delve into the mysteries of this new block?

The Netherrack Mine

The Netherrack Mine is yet another new mine, accessible once you become an A-Prisoner. Contained within the Netherrack Mine are valuable ores such as diamond, gold, nether quartz, and glowstone. An advisable strategy would be to mine in the Netherrack Mine for diamond armor and a diamond sword, and to travel to the Mob Farm to make money afterwards.

The Mob Farm

Perhaps the largest change from B Block to A Block is the new form of job - mob farming! Here, zombies spawn to challenge you in the depths. Though it comes with great risk, it also comes with great reward. If you know what you're doing, the Mob Farm can be one of your fastest money-makers during your stay in A Block. Many As made their way to Free by selling items they enchanted.

The Hockey Rink

The Hockey Rink is your next form of entertainment. While different from basketball, it can still sometimes be fun nonetheless, especially when you're playing with your prisoner allies!

Visitor Conference

Due to A Block's unique location, Free Spawn is adjacent to the block itself. Because of this, you are now granted access to a sort of conference room, a place where you may make eye contact with those who call themselves Free.

Although not necessarily a new feature of A Block, the Fishing area has received yet another visual update. Now, instead of your uniform prison-like fishing area, you may experience the joys of suburban fishing - while still within the prison itself, of course.
