FAQ
Q: What is Convicted?
A: Refer to this page for your answer.
Q: Is Convicted Whitelisted?
A: At most times, no. However, the server may put up a whitelist occasionally for simple matters such as maintenance. Generally, the whitelist will not last very long.
Q: What mods am I allowed to have?
A: You are allowed to have Optifine. When asking what mods are allowed, this is the general rule of thumb to go by: If it gives you an obvious unfair advantage, then it is not allowed. Just go with your best judgement. An example of a forbidden mod is X-ray. (You are only allowed to have X-ray if you are an AlphaGuard/Warden).
Q: How do I rankup?
A: First, you must collect the sum of BP required to reach the next rank. (C Block = 2,500 BP. (Only if ranking up from D Block). B Block = 15,000 BP. A Block = 35,000 BP. Elite Block = 65,000 BP. Free = 100,000 BP.) Then, once you have acquired the amount necessary, type the command: /rankup
Q: How do I make money?
A: You may make BP by selling blocks at your block's Block Shop. Alternatively, you may also make BP by selling raw fish at the fish shop. (In C Block, this is located in the food shop. In every block afterward, there will be an area to sell fish near that block's Fishing Pool).
Q: How do I become a Guard?
A: Fill out an application at this link. Keep in mind that if you have not already registered an account with that website (Minecraft Forums), you will need to do so. Copy the Guard Application format (located in the first post with details about the server), and paste it in the white area near the bottom of the page. Once filled out, click post.
Q: I have filled out a Guard Application, when will it be accepted?
A: There is no set answer to this question. Sometimes, people can wait days to be accepted. Sometimes, people can wait months to be accepted. It depends mainly on how qualified you are for the Guard position. Guard Applications will be reviewed within at least 3 days or 10 forum pages after it is posted. If you are not promoted to Trainee in-game after that time, you may consider your application declined. You then either have the option of: A. Editing your Guard Application to make it better (this is recommended), or B. Re-posting your application with no edits (not recommended). Once re-posted, you may then repeat the process.

Q: I GOT BANNED, PLEASE HELP WHAT DO I DO?!
A: You may fill out a Ban Appeal at this link. While Ban Appeals are normally only for the wrongly banned (if you were not actually wrongly banned please do not try to lie about it; this will only get your appeal denied), sometimes appeals may be accepted if you were rightfully banned. The best thing you can do is be straight with the Alpha/Warden who banned you; if they do not wish to unban you then you must try to respect their decision. If they do unban you, you would best not cheat again. If you are not unbanned, then in most cases you may purchase an alternate Minecraft account and rejoin the server on that account.
Q: How do I donate to Convicted?
A: Go to this link. Once there, go to the section you wish to purchase from. (Note: You will be asked to enter your Minecraft username. Do not be alarmed - this is only to validate your donation and assign the perks received to your account.) Once there, click Buy. You will then be taken to a confirmation screen. After that, you may donate using either Paypal or a credit card. Once you have donated, please wait 5-30 minutes. If you have not received your perks by then, contact ViperKnows and tell him of your problem.
Q: What is a quest?
A: A quest is an event that usually involves parkour, a puzzle, or a small series of events. The rule of thumb that defines quests from events is that quests can be played anytime, and usually do not require a partner. You can access your first quest in A Block, unlock more in Elite, and gain access to many more in Free. Some quests, however, require you to donate 30 dollars or more, as they are located in Donor Block.
